Neumarkt 1, Dresden
Great location to eat something good while strolling through the old town. Our pizza tasted great, the service was very friendly and we didn't have to wait very long for the meal. There were two minor mishaps when ordering (a pizza different from what was ordered; 1 drink forgotten), but these were quickly resolved. All in all very recommendable!
Food was ok, the dough a bit limp. What didn't work at all was that my plate was cleared even though my companion was still eating. Was a little mood killer.
Nice Italian restaurant with typical Italian dishes and Italian flair. Friendly service and good food.
Decent Italian food in the heart of Dresden.
Two stars for the location. The food is not acceptable, prices are expensive and the service is okay. We had pizza which consisted mainly of cheese, the dough was elastic and the ingredients weren't of good quality. The aglio olio is apparently a supreme discipline for Italians, but definitely not successful here. Refined with anchovies, it consisted of water, dried herbs and oil. Nothing is salty and spicy here. Classic tourist booth for Germans with a camera around their necks.
The food and wine were good, the service was okay in my opinion, the prices were good in relation to the city, but rather not for the food itself. You could sit here very well and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the evening.
Good Italian with delicious food. Pizza comes highly recommended. No matter which.
Very nice service and delicious food. I'll go there again soon. Super great ????
Would have liked to try the Italian, but you know it, you sit down and look forward to a delicious meal and a good time and then the waitress comes and is so incredibly unfriendly and bored that you are no longer bothered to spend your money there. Apparently, the restaurant is doing too well despite Corona.
Pizza and price were okay. Tablecloths dirty, waiters wore no masks and a safe distance could hardly be maintained. Only 0.33 liters of soft drinks.
The food is good. Portions rather small. But there is a 2 point deduction for the lack of extremely poor service. Me and my friend were totally ignored and treated like air. Friendliness does not exist. The dishes were taken off the table without a word and we were not paid attention to before ordering. Something like that cannot be tolerated even remotely. Toilets look like hell. Corona sends its regards. I am downright shocked. The health department should come over there. Nobody wears a mask! Not even the waiter. Therefore caution not to be recommended.
The service seems a bit overwhelmed. Our order was only half delivered (we apologized for that), but unfortunately we didn't get the rest. Parmesan is usually served with the pasta. Unfortunately we forgot that.
Very rude waiters.
I ate there 3 times on vacation and it was outstanding every time. The pizza is not greasy, gratinated pasta is great and so is the meat dish. It's a shame that there isn't such a great Italian at home
It was our first time there and we really enjoyed it. The order is received and executed quickly. Food was really delicious. The staff are very polite and courteous. We'll be back !! ??
Really the best Italian in town by far! Delicious food, very friendly and courteous waiters are the order of the day here. If you want to eat well and tasty at a fair price, this is the place for you! Never again another restaurant for a date right in front of the Frauenkirche. All in all, perfect gastronomic hospitality!
Even this one star hurts So that has nothing to do with Italian food and the service is underground. Orders can only be ordered after having been contacted several times, and can only be placed with a very unfriendly waiter “with a very important device in hand” The waitresses are unable to articulate themselves. Obstacles are cleared out of the way with their feet. Then the absolute highlight is the food, I'm married to an Italian, what was on the table was underground and completely overpriced tourist food. Absolutely not to be recommended!
Perfect!!! Food was outstanding and extremely tasty. Here you can tell that a good cook is at work. Very friendly staff. Our dog was immediately supplied with water. Really great.. Extremely satisfied
My first review as I've never had worse service. Unfriendly incompetent and mediocre food. After the wrong food was brought and discussed, it was finally claimed that the EC card machine only works from 20 euros. The waiter kicked chairs against them. The invoice amount was called against you. They didn't want to spend a second too busy with us. Before we had finished ordering our food, the waiter wanted to go to the next table. Here you only pay for the location. Never again. Tourist trap!
We were just eating spaghetti Bolognese here. Unfortunately, far too little, a normal man will not be full here. Nothing special in taste. Service always tried hard. And the toilets under all pig. At least with women. With the gentlemen it was just about the cleanliness. No recommendation from us.
Today we enjoyed delicious sundaes and drinks on the outside seats in the afternoon. The ice cream was delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. Everything perfect. We would love to come back.
The food was delicious and the service very quick. Also, you couldn't help putting the table together, a good service from justifiably proud waiters. In the end, however, the request "Please please pay together and not separately" was then unnecessary.
Friendly, quick staff. Husband and I had drinks while the kids ate pasta and pizza. They ate almost all their food and we left satisfied:)
Food was decent for the price range but nothing much to write about. Wouldn't recommend going with kids, no kids menu and kids portions are big pretty at pretty much the same price as the adult order.
I would never recommend to visit this place. It was a terrible experience. Disadvantages: - the risotto we ordered wasn't actually a risotto. it was a tasteless dish consisted of overcooked rice mixed with vegetables. Looked like a dietary dish served in hospitals. - the interior is weird and old-fashioned - tables are not clean - I ordered fish with vegetables and they couldn't even make those vegetables taste decent. They were too salty and when I asked to replace them I got plain boiled vegetables with no salt at all instead. They literally tasted like paper. Advantages: - friendly stuff
Cool
Rather horrible experience. Dirty table cloth top start with. Then waiters who don't speak foreign languages: no Italian nor English. Thus, misunderstanding while taking our order. We sent the pizza back. Then we got it again after some touch-up to cover their mistake. It was below average but not that bad. At the end, after 15 minutes of avoiding us we had to come to the waiter to pay our check. On the plus side, wines were ok. The view was nice. Overall, not recommended unless you are really patient with people's lack of positive attitude. It's just pathetic.
Bad food. Very touristic.
Very nice, classic Italian food. Affordable prices, delicious dishes. The staff is very friendly but the waiters that serve you change and they don't speak English very well - but there is an English menu. The interior design is quiant and clean but nothing extraordinary.
This would probably be the worst restaurant, as far as customer service is concerned, that I have visited in Germany. And I have been here many times. There was only one waiter, who could actually take orders, the rest were serving staff. All they did was serve food, clear up and avoid any customer contact. If they did respond to a customer, it was then referred on to the lone waiter and then lost in translation. After receiving our main meal we waited over 30 minutes to get a bottle of white wine and when it arrived it was warm. There are plenty of restaurants in Dresden - this one should be avoided.
I live this place - placed right in the heart of the city, right next to the Frauenkirche, but still reasonably priced. I'd personally recommend the pizza quattro formaggi and the spaghetti aglio e olio.
Ausonia is a good place to grab a non-official meal. It's not a restaurant as expected from an Italian Restorante. The food was fresh and tasty but purely simple. It lacks any sophistication what so ever. Not in taste, nor in cooking, not in ingredients, and definitely not in presentation. It's more like a pezzaria or a Mediterranean cafe that serves food. Once your expectations are set - you can enjoy the food. Tiramisu was excellent.
Horrible horrible horrible! Got sick within 30 min of eating the meat medallions and got food poisoning for next 18 hours. Asked the waiter for gluten free options and no one knew what I was asking. In this day and age...in the middle of the town square ...with millions of tourists they still dont understand or speak English. No clue what gluten free is ....in this day and age when half the population is gluten free How clueless can you be? And the waiter got the order wrong 3 freakin times and did not even apologize. He looked like he was constipated the entire time. Wish I had read the reviews before eating here.
The quattro formaggi piza and the spaghetti aglio e olio are to die for. Really fast and friendly service, too.
Nice restaurant, good food, prompt service, helpful staff, fair prices
Super
Too slow and Not polite
Nice
We had a pizza calzone it the dough was a bit raw. There was egg inside and it was still liquid. We had stomach ache the days after. If it would be baked longer there was no problem! So see it as a tip for next time
The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is the fact we didn't get sick after eating here. The food is simply not good, without any taste and made from frozen products. The staff is annoyed with us being there. And apparently "no Internet" so it's impossible to pay with a credit card. Definitely do not recommend.
I don't recommend this place, because food was not delicious and very expensive. The staff was not friendly, cold and aggressive. When I went to the WC before we made order, waiter made terrible face and began to complain. By the way, WC is in neighboring building, you must go through a few basements.
Really horrible food without taste, rude waiters, everything they made is from the frozen products. I wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends in Dresden. Don't waste your time and your money, they are plenty of different places in this area.
We were waiting for pasta and pizza for about 45 minutes even though the restaurant was pretty empty. Waiter served first other people who came after us. There was no explanation, no excuse, no even "sorry". When the food arrived it was even worse. Everything was disgusting, without taste, made of frozen ingredients. Waiter didn't ask how it was, he didn't care. I've been to Italy many times and I always had a great food there. You people, u are shaming all the Italians and Italian food with this distasteful thing, you dare calling a "food". Don't go there under any circumstances!
